The company

Khepee is a product of Lacspace

Lacspace Corporation Pvt. Ltd. is a technology company registered in Nepal and India, building AI-powered software, SaaS platforms and digital infrastructure — with products already running in production rather than in a pitch deck.

Why this matters to a partner

You are not betting on a first-time team

The usual risk in partnering with a lending technology vendor is that the team has never shipped and supported software that businesses depend on daily. That is a fair concern, and it is the one Lacspace’s track record answers.

  • An existing engineering organisation, not a project team assembled for one client
  • Products live in the Nepali market with real users and real support obligations
  • Experience of the operational reality — billing, inventory, point of sale, school administration
  • Khepee is a new product from an established company, not a new company

What Lacspace’s registration does and does not permit

Lacspace Corporation Pvt. Ltd. is registered as a technology company. That registration establishes that the company legally exists and may trade as a software business. It is not a banking licence and it confers no authority to lend, take deposits or hold customer funds — that authority comes only from Nepal Rastra Bank, under a different framework and a different regulator. Neither Lacspace nor Khepee holds an NRB licence, and neither claims one. Any loan originated through Khepee is issued by a partner institution that holds its own NRB licence.

Why lending

A domain where software quality has consequences

Most business software is forgiving. Lending is not — a rounding error compounds across 36 instalments, a missing audit entry becomes a regulatory problem, and a careless permission exposes a borrower’s identity documents.

  • Money handled as integer paisa throughout, never a floating-point value
  • Regulatory limits enforced at four independent layers
  • An append-only audit trail rather than a mutable activity log
  • Compliance-critical logic covered by tests that block a release

Commitment

A product, not a project

Lending software is a decade-long commitment: loans run for three years, records are retained for five after that, and regulations change throughout. A vendor that treats it as a project will be gone before your first cohort closes.

  • Built as a product line within an operating company, not a one-off build
  • Regulatory constants versioned so a directive change is a same-week change
  • Documented architectural decisions, including the reversed ones
  • Full data export at any time, so the commitment is earned rather than enforced
